• The second is the Modular design. The installation is less expensive compared to the complete design. The design comprises trays, created offsite, in which plants are grown and these trays are installed as tiling on the roof. There is a limitation on the variation of the vegetation which can be used for this type of design.
  
  
• The last is the pre-cultivated vegetation blankets. This is a special design which has the interlocking tiles that arrive at the site with pre-grown vegetation. The installation process is very simple as compared to the other two types of the eco roofing designs.
